Relational Maps of World Cinema: Awara as a Case Study
This interactive map—currently in development by Sigal Yona—will trace the transnational journey of Raj Kapoor’s Awara (1951). It will link mapped locations to archival artifacts to make visible the various connections through which Awara became one of the most widely successful films in global cinema history.
